The purpose of this day is formally acknowledge that we are living, learning and teaching on unceded territories here at Moscrop Secondary.
We would like to celebrate the music, dance and art of indigenous communities, have our students participate in a number of workshops on equity and social justice issues, and explore the specific ways that non-Indigenous people can act as allies in the reconciliation process.
We will be welcoming Elders and Aboriginal leaders from several nations including the Squamish, Tseil-Wa-Tuth, and Stó:lō, Metis, Cree, Haida Tsimshian

Mr. Manoharan’s Electronics / Robotics class visited Electronic Arts in Burnaby to promote STEAM day in Vancouver. STEAM stands for Science – Technology – Engineering and Mathematics with the goal of promoting these disciplines among students. The students were able to work with some of the company’s top software engineers, and were engaged, had fun and were great representatives for Moscrop and for Burnaby Schools!
Well done everyone!
