Moscrop’s Environmental Committee, Unity in Green, is working to phase out water bottle sales from the vending machines at Moscrop. The production, transportation, refrigeration and consumption of bottled water have huge negative impacts on the environment. Using reusable water bottles is cheaper and greatly reduces the effects on the planet. Please encourage your child to use a reusable water bottle instead of buying bottled water from the vending machines. We are also holding a used reusable water bottle drive. If you have extras at home, your child can place them in the box beside the vending machine outside of the Large Gym.
